Doireann is here and she wants to check if a few things are working.
She’s going to be doing a couple of songs, a couple
of poems and maybe a few stories.
She’s after finding a load of tapes.
She’s going to be doing a duet with her brother.
He’s not here. She’s here. You’re here.
Thanks very much for being here.
If you’re concerned about anything that’s happening on
the stage just remember to listen to the sound of her voice.
She’s doing a duet with her brother.
He’s not here.
He is dead.

Brokentalkers hit the road with a national tour of This Beach

You saw them here earlier this year with Have I No Mouth as part of a national tour, back in April they presented The Passion a re-imagining of the Passion in collaboration with community of Ballyfermot and Cherry Orchard, and now they are hitting the road again with their critically-acclaimed show This Beach. This Beach is a blistering satire of white western privilege made in response to the global refugee crisis. Touring to seven venues across Ireland this autumn, with performances in Blanchardstown, Galway, Dún Laoghaire, Belfast,  Cork,  Bray and of course…
