Enthusiasm!
Live from Frieze Art Fair, Regent’s Park, London.

For the 2006 Frieze Art Fair Grant Watson and Sarah Pierce are co-curating a series of radio programmes in collaboration with Resonance 104.4fm, which will be broadcast live from the fair. These programmes which are part of Frieze Projects will take the term communism as their starting point and will include conversations, interviews and group discussions with artists, theorists, filmmakers and activists, as well as with visitors attending the fair, tapping into the surplus economies of the event as a meeting place for people from around the world.

The curatorial team will also work with the diverse possibilities of radio, so that discussions will be interspersed with related sound elements, such as music, readings and audio works by artists.

Frieze Projects is supported by Arts Council England, and Culture 2000 programme of the European Union (2005-07), in association with International Studio Programme in Sweden, Stockholm; Stedlijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam; Project Arts Centre, Dublin and Platform Garanti, Istanbul. Frieze Projects is presented in association with Cartier.
