A series of short performances of plays and original work from the current  MA students of UCD’s  Directing For Theatre programme.

U.C.D is pleased to present Directions 7  a showcase of students’ work from UCD’s Drama Studies MA programme Directing for Theatre 2010/2011.  Nóirín Barrett, Sylvia Beatley, Sarah Finlay, Barbara Hughes, Vincent O’Reilly, Owen Ryan and Elizabeth Tyndall will present their work at lunchtime at Project Arts Centre Cube.

Each piece is approximately ten minutes long and is a calling card for the styles and influences of these students who are emerging directors on the Irish theatre scene.

A variety of shows. A variety of moods. A variety of statements on contemporary society.

“…driven by a radical contempt for the new global capitalism and its attempt to turn us all into depersonalised consumers… it is an act of theatre propelled by moral fervour.“

The Guardian on Attempts on her Life.
