CRUEL AND UNUSUAL

Tickets: 15

Irish Comedian Vs American Death Penalty

Fresh from a sell out run at Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Cruel and Unusual is a unique stand-up show and the story of comedian Keith Farnan’s crusade against the death penalty. From law school in Ireland to the Innocence Project in New York city; meeting with, Sr. Helen Prejean of Dead Man Walking fame, to a Public Defenders office in Georgia – could it be possible that the Irish might just be the only people in the world who can stop the death penalty in America?

“As close to a reincarnated pre-Black Books Dylan Moran as we’re likely to see nowadays…If Eddie Izzard had been Irish, he’d surely have turned out a lot like Keith Farnan.” The Scotsman
