This aims to celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of the diverse African peoples living here in Ireland. Songs, poetry and stories will be performed by members of Dublin’s African communities under the supervision of Nigerian performing artist Bisi Adigun. While performed mainly in English, languages such as Swahili, Akan, Kikuyu, Bantu, Ewe and others will give Africa an authentic voice in Ireland.
