For its 9th edition, 12 Points Festival returns to its Irish home in Project Arts Centre, following a trip to Umeå, Sweden last year.
Over 4 nights, the festival will presents 12 young, cutting-edge jazz acts from 12 different European countries.

BRUUT!
So many excellent acts from the UK this year but Laura Jurd is a standout – a trumpet improv star in the making – presenting a groove driven sound with lashings of folk-like melodies, accompanied by her excellent quartet.
Copenhagen’s SVIN create a special soundscape – a sometimes dark, drone of heavy riffs and detuned instruments which can then break gasping, into a fragile chamber melody.
Sassy, sexy super jazz from Amsterdam, BRUUT! will create a perfect Friday night feeling, making brutal jazz out of juicy boogaloo and fat rhythm & blues.
